I can't 'do' thinning. I try to follow the instructions on a packet of seeds ... but when it comes to 'thinning', choosing the 'strongest' seedlings and chucking out the 'weaklings', then it's here that I fail.
If all 42 tomato seeds take the trouble to put in the effort, then all 42 plants will get potted up & not discarded (said in a quiet voice) ... "to the compost bin".
I'm also guilty of planting 3 or 4 plants per pot too ... go on, handcuff me n' chuck away the key.
Guilty m' lud ...

Oh what I wouldn't give to have all your awesome plants. Here in North Carolina the soil is so hard and dry nothing grows. My tomato plants look terrible. Gorgeous looking plants here. I think next year I will compost more. :)
