Another selection of snaps from our garden that never made it to my wee bloglet earlier in the year.
Yellow Poppies ... Grrr ... as pretty as these look, I do regret BIG TIME ever scattering these seeds around the garden. Don't be fooled by the delicate, yellow, tissue-paper appearance ... NO ... they have roots to Australia and come up EVERYWHERE ... Grrr (again)
... and relax ... now these are stunning, burnt orange-red day lilies. Still a fairly new plant and quite small but hoping for big things from this baby in the future ...
Hellebore
Polyanthus, these are flowering again now ...

Love the day Lily, and dont tell me about scattering seeds...I've done that and have some terrible stuff to get rid of...looks pretty, but the root system is shocking..Love the yellow though..
Very pretty flowers, your gardens must be huge...

Your "wee bloglet" sounds like some small, furry creature, probably living in a hole in the garden and popping its nose up now and then to shyly sniff the flowers. I like it. Oh, and the flowers are nice, too.
Yellow Poppies, tell me about it Jane. Myra loves them but if I see just one in the wrong place I rip it out. You wont tell, will you?
Ha Ha, still waiting for the yellow poppies to arrive here in Australia! Seriously though, I haven't seen them before...
