It is 'officially' (according to my book of 'All Things Official') the most beautiful time of the year.
OK, so delete the cold, dank, miserable days and you have the most wonderful time of the year (according to my other book 'The Most Wonderful Parts of the Year with the Grotty Bits Removed', published in Hardback)
The fields round these parts are blooming away with a sea of yellow Rapeseed Oil plants. Looks positively stunning at the mo', especially when viewed from a distance with the skies bubbling away after another downpour & the sun taking a peek & bathing the fields in an even brighter light.
A sigh of relief for all hayfever sufferers as the rain keeps the pollens at bay.

So it's the most beautiful time of the year for hayfever sufferers because it's raining. Okay, I think. By the way, when does the paperback issue of your other book come out ?
Must admit though, as I walked around the garden today (with my brolly and wellies) the plants looked really happy. For them it is the most wonderful time of the year.
Yes I've got it now.
Luckily I don't suffer from hayfever - when I passed a field of rape the other day I thought they could have been a field of daffodils from a distance.
My husband has allergies very bad. So, while it is the most wonderful time of year for me, it's not so good for him!
Well, I'm not exactly a hayfever sufferer, but I do have allergies. The forecasters here are calling for a terrible allergy season because the winter was so mild. My car is covered in fine yellow powder already! So I will enjoy your field from a distance. :) Cheers!
