When not gardening I can be found indulging in my other passion...card making, and in particular cards for fellow gardeners.
By day you will find me knee deep in foliage, by night waist deep in crafting materials.
On this note I'd like to say the Tidy Garden Blog will be taking a short break but will return asap.
Work is really busy at the moment as the autumn clear-ups increase and preparations for the New Year in the gardens begin.
With about 60 Christmas cards to make, my evenings up until the big day are taken up creating so finding time to post on my blog is limited.
I will try & visit you all but apologies if I don't for a short while.
So for now, I'll leave you with some of the cards I've made with a gardening theme and if you need a hobby to while away the cold winter nights...well...here's an idea.

These are incredible!!!! LOVE them!! You are really talented. :o)
Great cards Jane - if you give up gardening you will always have a second string to your bow. Don't work too hard - missing you already.
You are one crafty gardener/card maker. I really enjoy your work (garden, cards, and otherwise). I would love to more about how you create them. Be well.
Love your fabulous cards, Jane. I'll miss you while you're on blogging hiatus, but I'm glad you have lots of business. Hurry back! xx
Great cards... I especially like the one with a pair of old boots on (what does that say about me??!).
Enjoy your blog break but don't work too hard x
Such cute cards! I am not nearly so artistic - more repetitive crafts like quilling and crocheting are my thing (which reminds me, I should finish that baby blanket I started for my daughter 3 years ago...)
Ahh, never enough time! I hope you have a very productive break!
Love, love, love those cards! What lucky friends you have.
Hi Jane, so much to do, understandable break from blogging. I have to say your card making skills are extremely impressive.
Your handcrafted cards are really great. You have much talents which are channeled into this lovely craft.
Jane, I know you are away for a short time, but I want you to know that I nominated you for the sisterhood of the world bloggers award, luv ya! congrats to you!
Those cards are brilliant.
I can understand the blog break.
Making Christmas cards in time for Christmas is a good idea. That could catch on, you know.
Love the gardening cards! I also make cars and my hubby does lampworking...putting tiny landscapes under glass. check them out on my gardening blog if you get a chance!http://theeverydaygardener.blogspot.com/
