Blighty should really look like this at the mo’.
We should be scurrying around outside in several layers, breathing frosty dragon’s breath.
Or be at home huddled in front of a steaming radiator
Not wandering about in t-shirts.
Will the real January step forward & reveal yourself!

Well we know who to blame when it turns colder tomorrow. I've got the winter coat ready.
Via Blotanical I found your blog and read some posts. Fun to read. Beatiful frosty pictures. In Holland we expect some frost coming weekend. Until now it's very mild and some shrubs show an abundance of flowers. It's a pity that you live so far from here, sometimes I can use a helping hand in tidying the garden.
Kind regards, Janneke
Hard to believe you're wandering about in t-shirts! Mild winters are always a worry. Just when things start to get used to the idea of spring, winter roars its head again. I hope your garden is not fooled.
Oh dear Jane - you've done it now - you've put a hex on the mild weather - and I was enjoying it too. Thermals here we come.
Reading the weather forecasts - I think the real January will be here before we can say 'Jack Frost!'
Great blog!
Amazing pictures Jane! Mother Nature has a flare for beauty regardless of the temperatures.
I was enjoying the warm spring weather! Seems like that was it for a while, snow on the way, even here in London!! Oh, well, I suppose it couldn't last all winter :-)
Hi Jane, I missed you. First you were absent from blogland, and then I was. Nice we're both back. I'm sure the frost will be back with you soon too. My only frost is in the freezer (must do something about that)but your photos are lovely. Is that a contorted Hazel? Gorgeous photo.
It's the same here in Brittany, France too Jane. We keep praying for frosts to kill off all the nasty bugs and prepare the garden for Spring so if you want to share the blame with someone feel free!! Very cold days also mean excuse to make cards in the warm!! Love your blogs.
What beautiful winter images, Jane! I agree, would the real January please step forward? It's a crazy 78 degrees here in Alabama today! All the best! xx
Livin' in the real January here... currently 3°F, and my gardens are dressed in Winter Whites. Brrrrr! Your spider web is magical!.
Out of this world photos! We are also wondering where January went here, as it's so warm my kids have asked me if we can go to the beach..
Hi Jane, I have a feeling your wishes may have come true by now, well maybe not exactly your wishes.
